Indeed, the overarching mandate of the Ghana Police Service, which is the provision of security to both businesses and the citizenry, undoubtedly, facilitates business activities including ours, as well as, the daily activities of the insuring public.
Over the period, however, the far cry of the Service has been the inadequacy of logistics to facilitate the effective performance of their constitutional mandate of providing internal security. This challenge of the Service, was a major highlight in a recent discussion between the directorate of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of Ghana Police Service and the MD of Metropolitan Life Insurance, Mr. Tawiah BEN-AHMED (ACII).
In keeping with the corporate social responsibility of Metropolitan Life Insurance, the company decided to support the police CID with two brand new Suzuki GE 110 Motorcycles (2018 Model), to facilitate their patrols and their effective investigative work.
